Digital Media, Branding, Global Marketing, Communications
and INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Though I am originally from Alaska (Alaskan-Hawaiian Native with a dash of EU/Asian heritages), for the past 20+ years both onsite and remotely, I have been actively working internationally as a digital media producer/marketing professional e.g. websites, SEO/SEM strategist, social media, print medias, etc. / filmmaker, videographer, producer, post-production editor, etc. / creative content developer / tourism development specialist (NATGEO certified Geotourism Ambassador, community tourism developer, destination developer, etc.), etc., for a wide variety of media, communications and social economic development initiatives. Prior to 2000 and onwards, these initiatives cover a broad span of overlapping industries and supply chains e.g. rural-to-international tourism development, social economic development via multiple USAID funded Initiatives, famed film/tv shows e.g. The Amazing Race as filming/editing and producing centerpiece films for National Geographics DC Museum & NYC’s Rubin Art Museum; to which, led to numerous international publications as well as being awarded Mongolia’s Ministry Medal (Gov.) for my endeavors in September 2015.
In brief, my works have been featured in countless publications e.g. National Geographic, USA TODAY, United Nations ESCAP, New York Magazine, Petit Fute, Lonely Planet, etc., as well as famed international TV shows e.g. The Amazing Race USA, The Amazing Race Australia, National Geographic Society’s DC Museum (centerpiece film), NY Rubin Art Museum (centerpiece film), etc., as well as showcased for many years as a Ministry Approved Country Exhibitor at famed business expos and events e.g. ITB Berlin, WTM London and many more across Asia (China, South Korea, Taiwan, etc.), EU and the United States; and, I’ve even been selected and sent as part of a Ministry Delegation to Istanbul, Turkey to advance international/bilateral relations.
Thus, I’ve received numerous recognitions and honors via my works and personally e.g. Ministry Medal of Honor (Gov.), NATGEO’s Certificate of Excellence, NATGEO Geotourism Ambassadorship, Associated EMMY/Directors Guild (DGA) Award Wins and much more.
I was hand-selected by the Chief of Party of the USAID funded The Competitiveness Initiative, Ms. Michelle Morgan, and approved by Nathan Associates, J.E. Austin Associates and the United States Agency for International Development to carry out my duties in relation to advancing Multi-Industry (cashmere, meat and tourism)/Multi-Sector Post Soviet Transitional Social Economic Development across Mongolia and globally via digital media & marketing communications – as part of the First USAID Teams operating across Mongolia. This Establishes my Digital Media (web/print medias, filmmaking, etc.), International Marketing Communications/Branding & Development Experience prior to 2000.

Whether I am working on a project and/or enjoying some downtime – I take the time for research and development via globally well-known information resources e.g. Adobe, Sales Force, Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google Search Engine Console, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn, etc. By doing so, I know that 100% of what I develop and produce for my clients are in line with today’s most sought after trends, strategies, and more. Here is a link to the most recent global report that verifies and supports all my endeavors, methodologies, strategies and services that I provide: Sales Force State of Marketing – 7th Edition Global Report
For almost “two decades” I’ve, Zanjan Fromer, turned 100s (potentially 1000s) of concepts into reality via mix and using Adobe Premiere Pro | After Effects | Audition | Capture | InDesign | Illustrator | Photoshop | Lightroom | Creative Express (and other Adobe Apps) | Bridge | Acrobat | WordPress | Research & Analytics | Leads Generators | Email Marketing | Social Media Marketing | and much more!
Being Alaskan born… I love the creative spectrum of contrasts, colors, gradients and so much more. From gentle/light earth tones of river valleys, wildflowers, etc., to the extremely rustic intensity of towering mountains and stormy/dark grey moods; artistic inspiration surrounds you in Alaska… and that becomes my guiding principals for all my works – look around, explore, learn, be curious, be adaptive, etc., creativity is everywhere; both within and all around – and ALWAYS creatively explore the mixing of old/new school methodologies, techniques, etc… such as terra[PRO] Media & Marketing‘s website – that aims to stylistically fuse old school epicness e.g. rustic blacks & whites with cutting-edge colors that are finely meshed to present high end/storyboard-like moods; evoking mental stimulation while maintaining the content-oriented focus – creatively tailor made to highlight “who I am” that innovatively showcases my diverse technical skill sets, experiences and know-how.
For 26+ years, I Zanjan Fromer, have been advancing International Public-Private Sector Social Economic Development Initiatives via my own initiatives, contracted works and/or via my organization that I founded (GERtoGER.org). As the Founding Specialist (a Rustic Field Specialist; an Alaskan-Hawaiian Native with a Dash of Asian/EU), Mr. Fromer (me), for decades I’ve worked/led many international projects/initiatives – in fact – many of my overseas endeavors have been featured via numerous globally famed venues (e.g. centerpiece films at National Geographic’s D.C. Museum, Rubin Art Museum in New York, etc.), publications (NATGEO, Lonely Planet, USA Today, New York Magazine, UNESCAP, etc.), reality & scripted TV shows (The Amazing Race USA & AUSTRALIA, Destination Truth, Arclight, etc.) as well as international business expos around the world (ITB, WTM, FESPO, LA, KOREA, etc). Owing to my endeavors, I have a Mongolian Government (Ministry Level) Medal of Honor for Leadership – Medal Link and other great recognitions for my works that included an associated EMMY/DGA Awards, etc. I also have been certified/recognized via an Explorer Organization (Certified National Geographic Society Geotourism Ambassador since 2010 – Certificate Link & Certificate of Excellence – Certificate Link), and much more.
In 2021 I produced/edited over 100 real estate marketing videos (published/unpublished) that spanned numerous countries and clients.

“There is NOTHING like the Race!”
The Amazing Race USA & Australia
In 2006 I have associated EMMY & DGA wins via creative and logistic support (country show fixer) for The Amazing Race in Mongolia and again in 2019 my Mongolia works (with my team) were quoted as
“The Best Episode Yet!”
“Zanjan Fromer and his team provided top notch creative and logistic support for an episode of “The Amazing Race” for CBS. His creative problem solving and fast thinking helped us get through some very tough situations and in the end added one of the more memorable episodes to an Emmy and DGA award winning season.”
From November 2022 onwards, I’ll be artistically showcasing (editing and producing in my free time), a broad range of short pieces that are about global subject matters that are important to me via emotional intelligence that communicate visually (without vocal narratives). The first of many future endeavors starts with my personal dedication to First Responders and their families. In the future, those short videos will be posted online and via my media showreel.
From January 2021 till November 2021, I personally (solo) edited and produced countless marketing videos for a UK based real estate agency as their Executive Producer of Multimedia.

Quick Note about the Internet Archive (Public Records/Archive of Internet Sites): it’s doesn’t keep a perfect sample of most sites as broken links, lost images/files/info, etc., do exist but it does serve as “proof” that such past works, projects, articles, etc existed – and in most cases it has enough textual info available via scrolling and clicking around.
Designed and Developed in 2022
This new site has been 100% designed and developed by myself… both design as well as the entire website’s SEO structure and strategies.

BUILDING FROM ZERO, ADAPTING, ADVANCING and REPEATING EXCELLENCE
I pride myself on my ability to adapt and build from “ZERO” – as it is solid proof of my capacity and repeating EXCELLENCE is a habit… not luck…
as I have a solid history of Excellence (2000-2020)

MINISTRY MEDAL
Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism
In 2015 I was officially awarded a Governmental Ministry Medal (below) as a Tourism Specialist (leadership) for outstanding endeavors towards the development of Mongolia’s tourism industry.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION RECOGNITION
Mongolian Tourism Association
In 2003 I was awarded this plaque (to the right) by the Mongolian Tourism Association (national association) in recognition for all my individual contributions towards the development and advancement of Mongolia’s tourism industry (domestically/internationally) in relation to my works with the united States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded The Competitiveness Initiative 2000-03
Not Contracted by Any Foreign Governments / Nor Affiliated with Any Terrorism States, Terrorism Organizations Nor Terrorism Sponsors
I am not contracted by any foreign governments nor do I have any affiliation with terrorism states nor terrorism organizations. However, via bilateral and trilateral agreements that are in the best interests of USA’s foreign relations with allied nations and/or strategic U.S. partnerships (e.g. Mongolia, Turkey, Europe, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.), my organization and staff have been included in providing social economic development as well as technical assistance in relation to tourism development, film and TV, media, traditional and digital marketing, etc.
My Humanitarian/Philanthropy Works – All Taxes and Social Security Handled in Accordance with U.S. and International Laws
I’ve been a professional field specialist and humanitarian for most of my adult life – all my earnings from projects, film productions, etc., though listed on budgets – those finances always remain with the humanitarian organization (GERtoGER.org) to finance humanitarian works, marketing works, equipments purchases, online endeavors, etc… the actual pay out to me is nothing more than a local salary which sustains my basic needs overseas (just a bit more than a few hundred USD per month) – and nothing more. This is how I am able to finance our overseas humanitarian works without all the assistance from international donor organizations from 2007 onwards – I’d finance a lot of it myself – hence I’ve been a philanthropist… there is absolutely no tax evasion nonsense (as I’ve paid all taxes, etc., as required within Mongolia by law) – I just do not earn enough “personally” to report by USA tax regulations (2005-19 while at GERtoGER.org)… I have one traceable bank account in the USA (standard checking & savings accounts) – I have no other active financial accounts anywhere on planet earth, hence ZERO money laundering and ZERO corruption.
Specialized Skill Sets for Self-Protection During Life Threaten Situations: Risk Assessing/Risk Mitigating Only – No Abuse NOR Physical Assaults
Yes, I am skilled in rapid CQ hand-to-hand, grappling, double tantojutsu and double bokkenjutsu (double wakizashi)…as the mixing of these extreme styles is rather deadly/lethal – if it’s not an immediate life-threatening situation – I always prefer diplomacy, letting local law enforcement do their job and/or just walking away from a situation if it is possible for the wellbeing and safety of the other individual and/or individuals (regardless of how arrogant their behaviors may be… just as long as it’s not and an immediate threat to life – I have absolutely nothing to prove as I’m not a show off). Even if overseas locals as well as multinational nationalists/extremists have fostered “setups” to provoke me into violence countless times for decades e.g. physically attacking me/online & offline abuse, etc., I’ve never responded using lethal force… I have an Aikido mentality that proceeds to use their momentum to which I evade and escape the situation before it become severely escalated – as I have ZERO interests to get “locked up abroad” or much worse.
ZERO Criminal Affiliations / ZERO Criminal Activities / ZERO Criminal Records
I have zero connections with any illegal activities NOR do I have any involvement (e.g. management, coordination, promotion, financial gains, etc.) with any illegal activities e,g. gangs, wildlife/human/drugs/arms (weapons) trafficking nor smuggling, no money laundering, etc… I have no criminal records nor have I ever been convicted of a crime e.g I have no police records, I have no court convictions, I have no FBI/federal nor state nor local police warrants for my arrest anywhere on planet earth.
Zero Racism / Zero Extremism / No Drugs / No Alcoholism / Not a Smoker / I Identify as a Straight Heterosexual Male / 100% Politically Neutral
I am NOT racist NOR prejudice – just another home-boy boy-scout… I don’t do drugs, I don’t smoke, I don’t really enjoy drinking as I prefer to have a clear head and I’m NOT even a partier (large crowds drain my energies) – I prefer working, studying, training and advancing my initiatives… I like focusing my time on people and projects that matter. Kindly note that I am not Iranian nor Muslim (I have nothing against them – just that I’ve never been one), however, I’m 100% straight Alaskan-Hawaiian Native mixed with German, Japanese and Filipino heritages that’s not into bigotry (race, religion, etc.) as my greater family is multinational – I mean almost all ethnicities are represented within my greater family (African, Asian, European, Latino, Native Alaskan/American, Polynesian, and so on)… and my name was given to me by my father who is an “anthropologist” and a honorably discharged United States of America Army Grunt (a handful of my family/relatives are/have been military) that serves as a constant reminder of the importance of Freedom (Freedom of Choice) – hence my name is a historic De Oppresso Liber movement that is a constant reminder of the importance of “Basic Human Rights and Freedom”.
Here a few shots of me when I was part of the 2019 Ministry (Gov.) selected Delegation to Istanbul, Turkey to advance international/Mongolian-Turkey bilateral relations as well as other shots of me around the world on business trips for international tourism business expos and/or side trips to experience different aspects of the global tourism industry; e.g. Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Russia, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Norway, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Canada, United States, etc.
